Spring shows up, the plants start growing, and suddenly cats are everywhere in the middle of it. A garden isn't just a garden anymore, it's something to walk through, sit in, and mess with. Fresh dirt gets treated like it was put there for them. New leaves get inspected, tapped, and occasionally chewed just to see what happens.

Indoor plants don't get ignored either. The second something new comes into the house, a cat is already there checking it out. Sniffing, circling, deciding if it's worth knocking over later. You water the plants, and somehow that turns into an event. There's always a paw getting a little too close or a tail brushing through something that shouldn't be touched.

Outside, it's even more of a free-for-all. Cats move through gardens like they've always been part of it. Sitting between plants, hiding under leaves, popping out from places you didn't even notice were open. It turns into a mix of calm and chaos, depending on what they decide to do next.

Spring is supposed to be about growth and things coming back, but with cats around, it's also about figuring out what survives them. Some plants make it, some don't, and the cats stay completely unbothered either way.

If I fits, I sits really does apply to everything, even flower pots. Doesn’t matter how small it is or how much dirt is already in there, a cat will find a way to make it work. They’ll squeeze in, adjust a little, and suddenly it’s their spot now. The plant doesn’t stand a chance. Once they’ve decided it fits, that’s it, they’re sitting there.

Cats and plants never really coexist peacefully. The second there’s a new leaf, it’s getting sniffed, chewed, and tested for no real reason. Doesn’t matter if it’s safe or not, they’re going to try it anyway. You turn your back and suddenly there’s bite marks on something you just watered. It’s less about hunger and more about curiosity, and the plants always seem to lose.

Cats and plants have more in common than you’d think. Both are constantly chasing the best patch of sunlight and refusing to give it up. The plants lean toward it all day, slowly shifting for the perfect angle, while the cat just drops right into the middle of it and claims it immediately.
